Kato Sensei from Suginami Dojo in Japan came to Seattle over the weekend of April 8th and 9th 2006.He was accompanied by Friedman Sensei from the San Francisco Suginami Dojo. The weekend events consisted of an opening session the evening of Friday the 7th given by Friedman Sensei, an early morning session given on Saturday by Bookman Sensei of the Tenzan Dojo, and morning and afternoon sessions given on Saturday and Sunday by Kato Sensei.
It was a wonderful experience photographing the seminar. I am embarrassed by the riches that it has left me with as I have far more photographs than I could sensibly show in a reasonable number of web pages. What I have on the following pages is just a small selection of the wonderful images given to us by Kato Sensei and the other Aikidoka who came to share their knowledge, enthusiasm and joy with us here in Seattle.
